When you book a stay at the Starkey Mansion, you’ll have access to the historic Colorado mansion’s astounding common areas. The first-floor library’s features include a grand piano, a cozy fireplace, and Mrs. Starkey’s impressive book collection.
Across the formal foyer, you’ll enjoy relaxing on our plush couches in front of our sitting room fireplace. In this room, be sure not to miss the stunning Iranian antique rug, or the Picasso and other lithographs hanging on the walls.
With its glittering chandelier and displays of fine china and silver, the formal dining room is available to rent out for business meetings or gatherings.
You’ll feel like a guest of a modern-day Downton Abbey in this room! Mrs. Starkey hosted over 20 years multiple nine-course formal dinners at this 12-person table, where her students practiced for weeks on end to perfect the techniques of the queen’s mirrored service.
The Starkey Mansion is also a luxury Denver Wedding Rental Venue.

The professional chef’s kitchen in our Colorado Mansion is fully equipped to fulfill all your culinary desires. With 12 stove tops, copper pans and pots, two dishwashers, and various other essential cooking tools, you can cook up a storm and impress your guests.
To start your day off right, you can also enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or espresso at our full espresso bar. Whether you prefer a bold, strong brew or a smooth, creamy latte, our baristas will whip up your favorite beverage just the way you like it. The Starkey Institute Legacy
You’ll get a glimpse of Mrs. Starkey’s legacy in our Colorado mansion’s hallways, where photos of graduates from the Starkey International Institute for Household Management grace the walls.
For over 40 years, the Starkey Mansion has been home to the best of students taking courses on Household Management, fine housekeeping, formal entertainment, and the culinary arts. Mrs. Starkey’s 1,600 graduates have gone on to manage the private lives of the high-net-worth around the world.

The lower level of the Starkey Mansion is your place to play and relax.
We have billiards, darts, and a poker table in our game room, and in our fitness room, you can work up a sweat on our Nordic Track treadmill and bike and total body strength machine.
When it’s time to relax and unwind from a long day working or exploring all that Denver has to offer, we have our private masseuse table and available to book your massage at your convenience.
Denver Hidden Garden
Don’t miss the best-kept secret garden and fully landscaped retreat in Denver, Colorado. Located in the rear of the Colorado Mansion, and protected by our 10-foot wall. The secret garden features a stone patio, tables, wine vines, statuary, a barbecue for your culinary creations, an herb garden, and Mrs. Starkey’s favorite Roses, Peonies, and Rose of Sharon’s all when in season.
