Starkey Mansion Event Rental Rates
The rental rates for the Starkey Mansion vary depending on the package selected below. The venue offers competitive pricing for its exceptional service, luxurious ambiance, and prime location in Denver, Colorado. Mansion Rental Rates include:
One-day Mansion rental for weddings and other events
$4,000 per event for up to 100 guests
$3,500 per event for up to 80 guests
$2,000 per event for Up to 40 guests
This one-day rental includes our formal garden, our Bridal suite, use of our professional kitchen, butler’s pantry, and Billiards room for the gentlemen to prepare and dress, and 2 Bathrooms.
Mansion Accommodations
The Starkey Mansion Denver Wedding Rental has seven bedrooms (10 beds) the rental of the bedrooms are separated from the event rental. They will need to be booked separately. See each of our bedrooms in detail below.
Professional Event Manager
Starkey recommends our preferred Event Manager to handle all culinary, alcohol and beverages, and service at the Starkey Mansion for all Denver Wedding Rentals. Also, music, chairs, tables, and décor are organized through Of the Vine. You may contract Of the Vine, Marcus Allen directly at 720-327-5448 or Ofthevineevents.com. They provide all insurance and legal requirements for serving alcohol, and all service needs during your events including clean-up.

The Starkey Mansion is a little-known 1901 Historic pearl in the heart of Denver. Just a block from Colorado’s State Capitol, its owners, Mary Starkey and Xavier Medecin purchased the Mansion in 1994 and have throughout the years upgraded every aspect of the mansion and formal garden. The Mansion also sits one block from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Cathedral of St. John Episcopal Church. The home was built for entertaining; the sister of one of Denver’s original blue blood families loved having family and friends over for formal dinners, birthdays, and wedding or community receptions. Mary created the Starkey International Institute in 1991 and searched for the perfect home to welcome her high-net-worth clientele and train her Graduates.

Mr. Allan Dines a former Colorado legislator and 70-year-prior owner called Mary one afternoon and relayed that his wife asked him to introduce the home to Mrs. Starkey before she died. She wanted it to be a famous Butler School. Soon the beautiful mansion becomes known as the Starkey Mansion. The mansion is 13,000 square feet on four floors. Over the last 28 years, Starkey has trained over 1,600 Graduates placing them all over the world. She hosted 10 formal dinners over 25 years, each year in the Emily Post era style, with mirrored service performed as the queens table. Mary and Xavier have taken the old guard mansion style and transformed it into a modern home with a historic graciousness. The Starkey Mansion is both an event and Bridal venue and a member of the Airbnb movement with 6 beautiful theme bedrooms (9 beds) and 5 fully restored baths; one suite for the bridal couple and others for family and friends; 9 beds in all. There is a large formal dining room, library, and living room supported by an authentic butler’s pantry, and a large commercial-level kitchen. The garden is just under one acre and is graced by lovely rod iron chairs and tables seating 45, slate floor for dancing, a walkway and pedestal for the bridal couple to walk down, and always graced in summers with hibiscus, roses, hydrangeas, magnificent trees, wine vines, an herb garden, and a real old world pizza oven.
